Packing Up

I can't believe a month has gone by already. Time to start packing up for the trek home. First off, we are driving to Michigan to visit with Sandy's son, Russell for a few days. I am anxious to get back home and see my honey of 50 years. I'm ready to tackle a game of Liverpool with Cindi and Bill. You guys ready to lose?
As usual, Sandra and I had to send some of our stuff home via UPS. Never fails that we bring back more than the car can carry.
I'm off to bed so that I can catch a few zzzzzzzzzz before the sun comes over the horizon. See everyone soon.

Two Granddaughters

Thought you might enjoy this picture of my granddaughters clowning around.

Greetings

Been very quiet here. Did take a weekend trip to Petersburg and follow Lee's retreat to Appomattox. Took us a full day to follow the route.

Hurt myself crossing the road to get a picture of a stupid cannon. Crossing the two lane road (55mph) I heard a car approaching from both directions and there I was in the middle of the road. Can't turn back, so I tried running, which didn't work out too well. My hip went out of joint and my leg tried to give out from underneath me, but onward I went. Never did get that darn picture. I am still paying the price for crossing the road.

Hi, to everyone there in Illinois. Miss you all.

Hello from MD

The wedding is over and now am trying to get all the pictures in one place to make a CD. Sandra worked all day yesterday on the pictures and still has about an hour's worth of sorting.
Tonight we are headed for church where the home schoolers are performing in a play.

When I'm in Illinois I miss everyone in MD and when in MD I miss everyone in Illinois. I wish Dave could have stayed a bit longer. Talked to him last night and he said he might come back if time allows. That would be very nice.
