thanksgiving Day

 
 
 

What a glorious way to start off this day than to give thanks to God for His wondous gift to us. I also thank God that we as a family we can worship together.
After church we gathered at Cindi and Bill's for the Thanksgiving Day feast, and what a feast it was. The candles were lit and the food was brought to the table. Turkey, dressing, gravy, potatos, breads, and cranberries. For dessert we cut into all six pies with a good serving of whipped cream to top it off.
When everyone had their fill, we sat around the table, and just enjoyed one another's company.
I figured it was time to leave when I kept nodding off, sitting on the piano bench. Everyone teases me about being just like Nana who used to nod off right in the middle of a sentence.
As the year comes to an end we all have things to be grateful for. May we always remember to thank God for His many blessings each and every minute of the day.
