Psalm 92:1-2

"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night."

Have we been faithful to give thanks every day for God's blessings? We are always in a hurry that our time with God is limited to a "Bless You" and "Amen." How can we expect to hear Him speak when we can't even sit and pray for a few minutes?

We always manage to make time for our family and friends, but put God on the back burner. When I read Psalm 105 I realized that I didn't give thanks for the things He had provided for me nor did I appreciate what He did for me. That was many years ago. I share this with you so that you will know that God wants to spend time with you. He will answer you when you call upon Him and give you comfort in time of hurt.
How can we hear His answer if we don't spend time with Him and learn to be quiet. I don't say it is easy to sit and be still, but the rewards are great. It takes discipline and patience to wait upon the Lord. The decision rests with you on how bad you want a relationship with our loving Lord.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name." Psalm 105:1
