What a Gift!
Cindi gave me a most needed gift for Mother's Day, two housecleanings a month. Wow! So, Tuesday afternoon she shows up to clean my kitchen and bathroom floors. First off, "Mom, where do you keep your mop?" "Mop, what mop?" Now I have one of those new fangled things that you just push around the floor and hope the dirt comes up with it. I haven't owned a good ole fashioned mop since she was in grade school. Ok, so I didn't have the mop. Now she asks for a bucket. Is she kidding? If I had the mop I would have the bucket but since no mop no bucket. By this time I thought I better start making a Walmart shopping list. I put a broom at the top of the list since she had made remarks in the past about my broom not doing a good job. Now I thought that all brooms sweep the same, but I was wrong and Cindi was right. All my broom does is catch the dirt in the bristles and spread the dirt around. So, no more straw brooms. She tells me, "get the one with nylon bristles." Ok, I think I have my list together so off to Walmart I go. Oh yes, I don't want to forget the Limeoff. I'll be prepared next time Cindi.

That's ok. Tonight i put something in the oven and when it was done I realized I didn't have one potholder. I used two sponges to get the darn thing out of the oven. Mop I have.
