What is the Heart?
The heart is considered to be the very center and core of life. Our deepest thoughts are held in our hearts. Proverbs 23:7 says, "For as a man thinks in his heart, so he is." The heart holds our true beliefs. As I look at it and try to understand, most people equate the heart with emotion, but I see it as emotions being the 'voice' of the heart.
"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:14-19 NKJ
We must get our hearts back on track. We have a sinful nature and we sin everyday, but thanks be to God, because of the Cross we have been washed clean. Our sins are forgiven. Amen and Amen!
Glory be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
